ACM Research Fellowship Programme
The ACM research fellowship programme inaugurated in 2009 and is the museum’s flagship initiative to promote, support and nurture original scholarship on Asian art history and material culture. Through this programme, the ACM hopes to strengthen its position as a regional hub synonymous with outstanding research projects and publications in the fields of Asian studies and culture.
Under the programme, grants are offered annually to a number of post-doctoral scholars to conduct research on specialised areas identified by the ACM, as well as its collections in general. Based on the applicants’ research proposals, publication records and academic training, an expert committee selects the top candidates whom they consider best able to contribute to scholarship in the selected fields.
